I am 65 and I have to think to hard to type the way most LSU grads expect. My wife is a St Jo gal and a LSU English major and teacher in town. I try to come to the site and talk football but that is not what the site wants to talk about. They want to express how stupid people are and anyone with support of CEO fits the bill for being that - just stupid. I do what I do most times on this site these days just to push the buttons of the folk that love to down vote. So it's just a game to gather down votes.

What I said about 500 yards is in my heart. I think that the Canes will sell out to stop the run in this first game and why not. I think Steve E is going to sell out to air it out and he has shown he knows how to do that. I hope what I just said is the truth because I will be at the game.

When a team sets up to stop the run and if they can pass it they will beat us- it's hard to switch the mind set once the game begins.

I am not sure how much of Steve Air will be shown in the spring game because it is mainly show bread. If what happens to the Canes is what I am saying - this site will change quickly after the first game.

You guys - all of you - have the right to feel what you are feeling but I am hoping your doom is 100% lame for this team.

Most of us are using O’s history including last year. The cool thing isn’t you can simply place a massive wager on what you’re saying and then you can laugh at us cause you’re made mad cash when we doubted your awesome football knowledge.

So, how many wins do you see this year? Minimum.

I’m extremely excited about the DL and I believe the OL will be more consistent.

Great D

Indeed. A little worried about secondary depth in the event of an injury but our defense will keep us in just about every game.

and some young QB's ready to go

This is the huge question mark and where much of the apprehension comes from. We know nothing about what we’ll see with our unproven QBs, RBs and WRs and OC who hasn’t run his own offense in 20 years.

let me break it down for you

Most of you think you know
- you guys are posting in absolutes when there are none

so you think you know

So, all of us are speaking in absolutes and know nothing, but you KNOW that LSU will have 500 yards of offense with 300 yards passing?

Makes sense to me.

so you think you know

what you think you know but what you know adds up to = 0

meaning that you know absolutely nothing

meaning all this end of football as we know it in Baton Rouge = 0

See if you can find the hidden word that describes what you know.

There’s a number that represents LSUs chance of making it past 2018.

9 - a very tough schedule

I can't see this team winning 12 but if we are 3-0 and MB has shown off big time I know me - I will be expecting 12-0

I think the run D will be one of the best in the country

Teams will be forced to pass more than they want to setting of the D to be a Bama type take away D !

Adds up to the same thing Ensminger’s offense added up to vs. Bama, huh?

***************************************************

nope

I am hoping and that is what I am thinking but of course I don't know

But MB seems to fit the bill to be a break out QB but not proven - that has to happen of the field

I am just trying to set the stage for - what if

What if LSU has a big time passing QB and we are scoring on teams set-up to stop our rushing attack. It is something we just have not seen is so long.

Ok. I'm all for that, but your post sounds like a proclamation, not a prayer.

if you was at the game you know that is not fair to put that on Steve E

I will judge Steve on this offense that he puts in place starting in the spring - if you will be honest with me you know that Danny got hit and brought little to the game that night

So, you're not in the "but, Steve broke records" group?

It is my feeling

Most are feeling doom and gloom - not me

I have hopes for a great season and nothing that Matt or this site can do will change that.

With the immediate impact linemen we have coming plus Ensminger running his spread attack, I fully expect a prolific offense

Well we know precisely what to expect with a Steve Ensminger/Ed O offense. The rest is up in the air. How will we function having a ST coordinator on staff again?

We will see fast paced, quick passing game that scores a lot of points is what it sounds like

I think special teams will be fine. We have an NFL guy coaching that and a beast transfer kicking coming in
