When you play like hot crap for 4 games that's the type of bowl game you get...take the 15 practices and then decline it....That will be an awful.game on NYE...good luck getting 20K unless it's free booze and a good band afterwarda

- started off 0-3 in conference. Check.
- they were 2-13 in their last 15 conference games at that point. adjusted and checked..
- Their win streak coincides with playing the bottom half of the B12. Check.
Let's look at who they beat on their win streak. Note that conference standings are based on tie breaks because of identical conference records.
TTU - 7th in conference. 111th in scoring defense
OK-Lite - 16th in conference with 0-9 record
TCU - 6th in conference. 84th in scoring defense, 95th in rush defense
WVU - 9th in conference, 109th in scoring defense
UH - 12th in conference, 3-6 conference record
KU - 10th in conference, 80th in scoring defense, 106th in pass defense
Their win streak absolutely coincides with beating the bottom half of the conference as well as some of the worst defenses in FBS football.

I was a toddler when that game was played, but I'm willing to guess that much of what you have said is horse shite. Were there hippies in the 85? Plus, they finished the regular season 8-3 with a win over #3 USC. Hardly a shite team.

yeah this is the reap what you sow with NIL and transfer portal now plus with this huge of a playoff nobody GAF anymore about bowls. hell i did not care about them if we could not make the SECCG and/or a 4 team playoff. now it is even worse. much worse.
non playoff bowls will not be taken seriously. players will opt out. whole thing is a joke now. but sure we may watch on Tv but who in their right mind will spend all that $$$$$ to go watch a glorified scrimmage without a bunch of players?

tickets should be free and all GA for these bowls in the playoff/NIL era.
these are just for TV to sell ad space, they can pay the stadium staff to host
instead doesn’t LSU get hosed if they don’t sell enough and have to eat the cost so these Bowl directors make 6 figures to do jack shite for 11 months out of the year
