Skybar, Moes, Bourbon (for a little younger of a crowd), and 17/16 for the party. Then hit little Italy for pitchers and pizza after the bar.

As far as grub goes mike n eds bbq is solid and moes is as well. Hamiltons if you wanna spend a little extra dough

Tailgating is kinda spread out unless you're going to a fraternity tailgate

Auburn is a fun place on a game day and the atmosphere of downtown is a little more laidbadk and less sketchy than tiger land ha

Im a LEO here in Montgomery. Stay downtown at the Renaissance or Embassy Suites. There are a few bars and restaurants in that area. The team may stay at one of those hotels as well. Eastchase Shoppes is also another option.

If you stay in Auburn expect high hotel rates. Here is a link that shows availability and rates. Most decent places are in the $300-$500 range. for partying in Auburn, Skybar is great. A few other places within walking distance of there. Quixote’s and 17-16 are decent. Avondale Bar is a little more upscale.

If you stay in Montgomery, the Renaissance is already sold out. You can try the Hampton or Embassy Suites downtown. Plenty of party places in downtown Montgomery. Basically, just ask for directions to the Alley and you will be set. Montgomery is most convenient for people driving up from Louisianna.

If you are coming from east of Auburn, I would suggest Columbus/Phenix City. You are only about an hour from the stadium and rates are much better. Downtown Columbus has a lot of great bars, pubs, nightclubs, etc.

I went in 2006, 2008 and 2010 and there are not that many bars there. The tailgate was great and a lot of young hotties walking around. I just went to Atlanta the last year and had a great time there.

If you don't want to worry about designating drivers (and like to BYOB), Rally has added luxury bus routes to Auburn from all cities mentioned in this thread. Use promo code GOTIGERS for 10% off: LINK

Holiday inn in opelika is not bad. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT stay at the Knights inn in Opelika. Don't ask why, because the list of reason is too long, just don't do it.

Stay at Quality Inn on Opelika Road, in Auburn. It's cheap, there'll be scads of LSU fans there, a built in tailgate party, and the toilets and air conditioning, and cable TV, work.
