That was a huge part of the lore. Warren Holloway was a soft-spoken, reliable WR, a hard working senior who contributed when asked. He never caught a touchdown pass in his career until that final moment.
You just can't make that stuff up. The fact that it was Holloway that caught the ball and not Chandler or Hinkel added so much to the moment.

I was watching that last play from across a large room (on a TV with the sound turned down) during a wedding ceremony taking place in a lodge in Gatlinburg.
The ONLY reason I did not start cursing very loudly after the play was the presence of the women participants in wedding.
