Please, please, traditional uniforms. Do not come up with any "special - bowl game" uniforms.

You show the above picture to an non LSU/college football fan and ask what colors Les is wearing and 9 of 10 will say "blue and yellow". LSU purple is anything from a deep blue to a bright purple (depending on the item and the year is was made). LSU gold has turned more and more yellow over the years. The uniforms are a better purple than Les' jacket but not by much.
My comment was more to show that our colors have changed over the decades and for people to think what we have now is some century old tradition is ridiculous. I liked the special uniforms but would rather wear our regular uniforms for the bowl game.

Kind of depends on the camera that was used to take the picture. Don't you think?
I agree that in that picture, Les's jacket sort of looks blue. But in person, I definitely see it as purple.

Penn State at Home - Blue
LSU at Home - White
I'm assuming that these teams pick their favorites for home games...so this is a no-brainer.
Penn State is fond of the white-out at home games, but they wear the dark jersey's.
