Before the season we were underdogs according to ESPN in 7 games. Of all years to be pulling for the Tigers to do well we have guys that are bad mouthing the team. We have had 3 linebackers and 3 offensive lineman out and the criticism is being piled on. So with all the new players trying to gel as a unit and play the best they can they are just heaped with criticism. I guess all this fantasy football stuff makes experts out of all the skinny, sickly pessimistic cellar dwellers that are vaping and praying for a living wage to be given to them.

The O line is and has been depleted for quite some time. Miles left it a mess. The new staff has made huge efforts to go out and recruit a line heavy class and were scolded for it by the brain trust.

It's not the backs, its not the WR, it's not the QB, it's not the scheme. It's the line play.

Miles left it a mess? Is that why 4 OL left from Feb 2017 - August 2017 and a 5th never even made it onto campus as a part of the 2017 class #HisNameWasSethStewart

Uhhhh.... you can pretty much throw Auburn in the losses as well. As a matter of fact the FPI has the Auburn game as our lowest chance to win not to mention we never win there.

The new staff should have spent more time recruiting players that were already on the roster. Clapp was drafted in the seventh round and Weathersby was an undrafted free agent. If those two are back on the roster things would be very different right now.

Bring on the mediocrity. Make excuses for LSU to lose 5 games this season. Make excuses to keep the coach that caused this mess. Eventually y’all will be the ones that killed this football program

All LSU needs is a couple breaks to go their way and they’ll be able to pull out a 8-4 season

Well, we won in 2008, 2012 and could've/should've won in 2016.

So.. while very difficult, never is a bit of a stretch

so twice out of the last 15 times I think... and one of those wins was when Auburn went 0-8 in conference.

we've won 2 of our last 5 at Auburn. 2 of those 3 losses at Auburn have been by 1 score, with 2016 coming down, quite literally, until the clock struck 0

But I do agree with this. With how our OL has performed and how good their defense is, it is very unlikely we win this game. But they were also heavy favorites last year and we looked dead in the water going into that game.

No, we've won 4 times in the last 15 times we've played there, and they've lost 9 straight and 13 of the last 15 in games played in Baton Rouge

three of their wins in the last 15 trips there were from 1989-1994 when we never won more than 3 games in the conference in a single season. Auburn was undefeated one of those seasons as well (1992).

ETA: who the hell downvotes a completely objective fact? Sorry if you were mistaken when you said we'd only won 2 of the last 15 at Auburn, which is objectively false.
