I want to see it with the matching helmet... but I didn't realize they were pretty much the same jersey. Looked good then too

That's not entirely true. It's all part of marketing and building your brand. That can be done with winning games, and even with having nice uniforms and gear for fans to buy. It's why everyone wanted Toonces dead because it was awful.

Those are tight as shite. They always seem to be on point when they go this alternate route which is in contrast to many teams.

The only throwback is the old gold color of the jersey. The pants and jersey styles are not throwbacks and LSU NEVER wore white helmets in the 40's and 50's.

After I posted it, the thought did occur to me that it might have been sarcasm. Sometimes it's hard to tell with all the knee-jerk criticism on here. I'm not pro- or anti-Miles/Cameron but I am anti-haters.

I like it, but I would have liked to seen this with a old gold helmet. If they want the throwback look why wear a helmet that isn't a throwback. LSU has never worn a white helmet until the Indy Bowl against ND in 1997.

Yep. U right. I hope this means we get this on our regular jerseys like the pro combat template eventually went to our current style.

probably not until next year. that's usually how nike works. oregon wears the next year's tech first and teams who wear alternates will wear it in those games

I'm ready for a permanent updated uniform. Hate them ever since they changed them during the bowl game a few years ago (stripes to the arm pits, Oregon number font).

huh? the stripes they changed to are much more similar to our classic uniforms than anything we've worn since 2001. and the numbers look like they always have. oregon number font? what are you even talking about?
