hmmm 4 x 10 = 40....... 40 x 40 > 30 x 30 good to know LSU can do math properly.

looks like the spoiled little assholes have some consequences and repercussions.
I walked through the parade grounds around 230 prior to chatanooga. It was pretty gruesome. People passed out, just beyond what I'd call drinking and having fun. I'm bout the coolest 40 year old on the planet. However, you fratty assholes are gross, nasty motherfrickers
I honestly don't remember anything to this magnitude during my time as a student.

Sounds like they don't want frats on parade grounds. They will just go somewhere else. Who cares.
Well considering a lot of other non-student organizations tailgate there, Id say it affects more than just frats.
Also, the whole purpose of this is so they can ease into making money off buying spots. They did the same thing with parking and this is an opportunity for the university to cash in.
I hate those frats and the trash they leave behind, but you are kidding yourself if you think this is stopping at student orgs.

I remember the first home opener always being a shitshow on the parade grounds. Lots of people vomitting or passing out before kickoff.
I still think LSU is taking some extreme steps to curve drinking habits. But people will find a way around the rules.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that the same board that always bitched about trash being left everywhere and nobody taking accountability for it is now bitching because there are some rules in place now to fix that problem
Yo, my bad dawg.. the party was just so litty I couldn’t do nuffin but get turnt all da way up

Really has nothing to do with tailgating
So you telling me college students will still show up to games in numbers if they can't tailgate?

Except this "rule" will not fix the trash issue. And that isn't the purpose of it.

I'm not a huge fan of LSU trying to turn the Parade Grounds into a vanilla corporate atmosphere. But this is a power move towards doing so.

Tailgates must be cleaned up before the game begins, Dean of Students Mari Fuentes-Martin said. Tents must be taken off the Parade Ground, and all trash must be cleaned up.
Oh really?
Got any better ideas?
ETA - I get that it’s not the sole purpose of it, but you better believe that if frat XYZ leaves a frickton of trash at their designated spot they will be reprimanded in some sort of way

They can. You can't.

If youre a fraternity frick the parade grounds. Just have someone "host" it offsite and funnel the cash to him. or just drink at the house.

Don't register as an organization and split off into factions
Move your tailgate literally 10 feet off the parade grounds.
Make pledges stay so you don't have to clean up until after
There are very obvious and easy ways to get around this. It isn't about the trash. Its always about money making opportunities.

I think its more because of the group that got reported for having the all you can play skin flute contest in the tent last weekend.
Didn't make the news, but I heard a lot of talented girls participated.
Just a birdy note. That's why they do not want walls or couches.
