The only thing that worries me is the $50 charge per game for a trailer and how they're going to handle where people put them.

It sucks. It's better than $40+ a game. I'm sure a walking and breathing fee are on the way though. I'm waiting for TAF to add the you live within 2,000 miles of Tiger Stadium fee to my account as well.

You live in Madison and you're really going to complain about arbitrary bullshite costs? Ironic.

I'm not terribly bothered by this knowing I won't have to fight 40 other people for a parking spot on Friday afternoons.

Now $540 (1 truck, plus trailer) for this convenience...our group will end up paying it, but doesn't mean we aren't pleased.

The biggest disagreement is that LSU has always encouraged those who casually tailgate to do so on the parade ground. Expect it to be less populated next season.

Too many people come on campus to tailgate and don't give a dime to the university. This is a good thing. Stop complaining.

I think we have fewer home games next year.

I wonder if that could be a factor.

frick this shite!!! Of couse we are going to pay it but frick this. Every week we have to fight to get garbage cans and have to wait for the bathrooms to open in order to use them. These cocks suckers better add a shite load more cans and get the useless facility services people out of bed early to open up the pissers if I am going to shell out another $240 next year.

This I would like to know to. We don't park anywhere near this and would like to know if our spot is "ok" to just waive the $50 fee.

This is how I feel. Our group isn't huge, but it's going to take a lot more strategery to get all the stuff to one vehicle so we're only paying for one spot. I'll park elsewhere and walk, but it won't be as convenient.

It'll probably also prevent my wife and kids from coming out as often, since they typically come late and leave early.

I'll probably give that $40 to the Chimes instead of LSU for a game or two as well.

From the brochure:

Beginning in 2011, utility trailers parked on campus will require a permit. Permits will be $50 a game per trailer. Trailer permits will be available for purchase approximately one month before the season begins on LSUtix.net. Purchasing a permit does not guarantee a trailer or vehicle access to any area on campus. Parking the trailer in any specific area is first-come-first-serve and is subject to availability.

Ok that is bullshite. Basically they are saying "If you think you MIGHT park your trailer, you have to pay us, but we wont gaurantee anything."

They're charging people for a service they might not actually be able to provide.

thats like selling too many tickets for a football game knowing the last people to show cant get in

"If you want to do this, you have to pay in advance, but if you dont get there early enough, we cant promise you'll actually have a spot waiting for you... we're sorry."

The way I read it is you can buy the passes the Friday before the game. shite just sell me a season pass. Just extend the parking pass area all the way to Highland and stop all other vehicles from getting inside campus. Now not only do i have to pay for parking but now I have to go get a pass on Friday night to assure I get a spot for Saturday.
