Me too! Plus they aren't that highly ranked or respected right now so a win over them would not give us much credibility and in the same vein a loss would hurt that much more.

we definitely have FAR more to lose than gain playing texas a&m ..

I will make an educated guess and say we go where there is more money.

The Cap One match up is better for LSU. Playing a higher ranked team and beating them only benefits the Tigers at the final polls.Losing to ATM will drop up severely in the end; where winning will do little to help us. Nothing to gain and everything to lose.

so your educated guess is the capital one bowl .. although after the 13-way conference split .. there is not a major difference between the two $$$-wise .. but the michian state match up is far superior to the texas a&m one .. when it was looking like the nebraska-oklahoma loser, i was extremely interested in dallas .. a&m took the luster off of the cotton bowl for me bigtime ... i still think it is strange that the cotton bowl extended this bid to a&m so fast ..

Plus we would end the year in Dallas and then start the next season in Dallas. Better to go to Cap One.

My guess would be that since A & M is super hot right now and got alot of Mo going into the game. The Loser of the Big-12 Title game would be on a downward slide and they may come in flat, Just like I think LSU would come out flat in Dallas.

Didn't realize so many of our fans were scared for LSU to play what we perceive to be better competition.

Cap 1 bowl won't pass a top 10 matchup. Cap one bowl it is..

I hope it's the Crap One for selfish reasons, but still, isn't it unusual for a team to make consecutive appearances in a "non-binding" bowl?

'Course, Tennessee seemed to play here for like 5 years in a row a couple years back.

The main reason I wouldnt mind playing in the capital one bowl again, is that we open the 2011 season in cowboys stadium.

Plus the other positives are a top 10 matchup and we havent played michigan state in a while too.

Like we came out better in Orlando the last 2 times we were there??? Both those Cap 1 bowls were horrible.

2004 was the Saban crap and last year field conditions were terrible.

Don't know until after the SECG.

I wouldn't think that the Cap One Bowl will want us two years in a row.
