i think lsu has the easiest path of the 3. if the tigers show up the rest of the way, they just might win the regular season crown. wow.

Yeah this is kind of why I was puzzled as to why that ESPN (irrelevant as they are) article didn't consider LSU a tourney lock yet. LSU has probably had the most difficult conference schedule between the three aforementioned teams, to date, which is why the Tigers' have the "easiest" schedule to close. The fact that LSU is 10-1, having gone through this schedule, should make prognosticators feel very confident in this team.

If we beat UT we are the favorite imo. They have 3 other really tough games besides LSU. Without even counting miss st at home. We have a game lead and a tie break on uk who plays tenn twice. There will be some losses somewhere by the teams we are trying to beat out for this.

Ill be surprised if Tenn wins the league.

They have by far the toughest stretch to close of the 3 teams. Their schedule to close is brutal

maybe that will change this week because they now have lsu as a 3 seed which is huge. lsu has made significant strides in the bpi over the last 2-3 weeks.

as for the remaining s.o.s. at this point according to bpi
tenn - 4
uk - 15
lsu - 62

chance of winning the conference
tenn - 77%
uk - 16%
lsu - 33%

Simple.

Tennessee and Kentucky split their two games.

LSU beats Tennessee.

LSU can still lose one other conference game and still win the SEC.

I quit predicting for LSU to lose any game, period..

Everytime we had a tough stretch of games, we would all say, "we should at least go 3-1 or I'd take 2-2 "....

Hell with that, we just said frick it, let's just win them all.

Also, by my count. LSU has, 3 games that are just about guaranteed.
UK has 1 such game and so does Tennessee.

Does this in turn make us the favorites, if we beat Tennessee? I think so... But, we got to beat Tennessee and then it's back to even

This scenerio still works if Kentucky sweeps, right?

Yes, but I think our RPI is better if they split.
