that will take place this week at the Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas, June 5-8. Wednesday and Friday will feature action on the men’s side, while the women will compete on Thursday and Saturday.

Tyler Terry, Jayy Flow and Kary Vincent Jr.
ncaatf Outdoor Squad - GeauxTigers
Head coach Dennis Shaver has the men ranked No. 3 heading in the NCAA championship meet as defined by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association ratings index; the women will enter the final meet of the season ranked No. 6.
One other guy that might sneak up on the field is Kenan Jones, the two-sport athlete for the Tigers. Jones registered a personal best of 25’ 2.75” (7.69 meters) in the long jump at the NCAA East Prelims to qualify to this meet. There is no telling what he could pop off at the NCAA meet as he has continually progressed throughout the season.
Late add to the @LSUTrackField NCAA roster, hurdler @antoine_dupl!
We. Have. Fun.

The four-day meet will be covered in entirety by the ESPN networks with live TV slots on ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPNU; in addition to the live TV coverage, live streams of field events will be available on WatchESPN too. Day one action for the men on Wednesday will air on ESPN2 beginning at 4 p.m. CT, and day one of action for the women on Thursday will be broadcasted live on ESPNU starting at 7 p.m. CT.

The LSU men return 16 of its 28 points scored from a year ago at the NCAA Championships that earned them an eighth-place finish. The individuals returning on the men’s side who scored points a year ago are Jaron Flournoy (200 meters/fourth place), Rayvon Grey (long jump/fourth place) and Damion Thomas (110m hurdles/third place). The only woman returning with NCAA points on her resume is Tonea Marshall who placed sixth in the 100 meter hurdles at the 2018 national meet.

It’s just another one of those Tiger Ree days on the rant, I guess.

Thanks Ree I appreciate your information. I’m a T&F guy. I will be following online.

Big props to Kenan Jones for qualifying in the long jump. Unfortunately the men's team had a setback in the 4x4 and didn't qualify, they were projected to finish 2nd.

I believe Tyler Terry and Kary Vincent both dealt with injuries at regionals.

Who’s the favorite to win the national title

Going to be close. That 4/4 boys was crucial in not qualifying. Maybe second is my prediction

For men:
Texas Tech
OR
LSU/Florida
Women:
Arkansas
Southern Cal
Florida State
Texas A&M
LSU is ranked 6th in the nation so they do have a shot.

We were prior to the 4x4 not qualifying. Now Texas Tech is the favorite. We still have a shot (along with Florida), but it would require things going poorly for our friends from Lubbock.

I thought Jake Norris was going to make it but he finished 4th at the SEC's in the hammer.

After further review of weather & discussion with ESPN the decision has been made to move all running events, with the exception of the 10k, up another 30 minutes.

His placement at SECs (which was his best performance of the season) had absolutely zero bearing on his qualification for nationals so I’m not sure why you thought to mention it.

I was planning to go tomorrow, but they moved the times due to weather. I have a dr appointment to go to ans will miss the freaking first day. Mondo is a little upset because if it is bad they will move some of the field events inside. He doesn’t want to win like that.

WTF happened?

If only LSU could keep Shaver as a sprints coach but have someone else run the program I think the team could be consistently a national player again. Under Shaver it never fails to have "oops" moments left and right in nationals qualifying. Seems like every year someone who is supposed to score points either false starts, get's injured during competition or drops the baton. At least he got Boo back.

On paper the guy he hired to replace Yush looked like a grand slam, but Norris hasn’t done shite for us this season. Hoping he has some top guys signed with his reputation
And yes, this is exactly why I told people to hold their breath in the 4x400 finale at the sec’s.
