LSU tailgating

I'm trying to find a spot to setup tailgates for LSU games next fall but don't know a spot where I wouldn't be taking the spot of someone who has been tailgating there for years. Is there anywhere around the campus that has plenty of room for someone new coming in?

Scotlandville has some lots open. Don’t look anyone in the eyes.

Parking lot at Triple S has open spots. Tell them you’re there for Alton.

Being in a spot for years doesn’t matter. No one is guaranteed a spot.
Get up early and get the spot you want. If the people that have had the spot for years really care, they’ll be there before you. If not, frick em.

Just get to the parade grounds at daylight and setup in an empty spot. Fuk anybody who says anything. Have fun.

A lot of people on this thread saying "if you get there before them, frick em". That ain't right. We're all out there to have a good time and work with each other to get along. If you're setting up in a spot of a larger tailgate who's been there for years you probably won't be beating them to the spot and if you do don't be surprised if they have your setup moved slightly over so they can get in. If it's a smaller single tent/family tailgate and you beat them to their spot, chances are they can tailgate real close nearby. Just work with the situation and whoever you encounter, expect the same of them and you will find room and everyone can get along.

If they allow tailgating this fall, which I’m sure they will, there are plenty of spots between Nicholson and the railroad tracks just south of the Tabasco lot.
