And, unlike LSU, there is no free parking anywhere on Alabama's campus.

Looking up something that shows I'm right? Almost every major college program charges for parking on campus. Unlike LSU, most of these places offer no free parking on campus.

However the FREE downtown lots are also LESS than a mile from campus.

They even provide BUS SERVICE for $1 per adult.

LSU will also continue to have free parking places, mostly east of Highland Road.

WHO CARES its less than a mile away AND they provide you bus service at a LOW LOW cost!

They even provide markers and paths from those downtown lots to get to the stadium the fastest way possible.

The lots ON CAMPUS are only $20 dollars!

Not on campus. LSU has free parking on campus.

Kirby Smith, the AG parking lot, the Law School - all huge free lots.

We've already addressed this.

How many people here would be OK with paying $20 to park close to the stadium?

:raiseshand:

THAT is what the norm is on other campuses.

LSU is charging $40 and charging $20 for areas a distance away where nobody else I can find is charging.

Alabama: $20 to park on campus not far from stadium. FREE to park >.75 mile out

LSU: $40 to park near the stadium
$20 to park .75-1 mile away

This is what we see as being absurd!

Well it kind of makes a difference when your bitching that LSU charges to park on campus and then say you can park for free at Alabama so long as it isn't on campus.

We'll have 3 $20 lots and at least 3 free lots.

Your real problem isn't LSU charging for parking; it's LSU charging you for parking in your spot.

The $20 parking isn't a mile away, and there is free parking less than 1/2 mile away from the Stadium on LSU's campus.
