Let Ree and the others think what they want. Nothing is gonna printed that paints things in a negative light right now. There's no reason to do so. No good would come from publicly disclosing what's going on behind the scenes. This whole thing has been enough of a black eye for the entire university.

Of course Ree and the Orgeron family are gonna continue to post propaganda until it's put up time. Put time is coming though. The results are gonna tell the story. Not Ree's hype and bullshite posts. There's nowhere to hide when kickoff rolls around.

So you don't like the news because it doesn't fit a narrative of yours. So naturally you accuse the author of the article of making shite up and lying. Wouldn't he be concerned that someone who knows would blow the whistle and ruin his reputation?

Ticket sales are going down across the country. Why would it be a black eye for the entire LSU university?

Propaganda as opposed to the bullshite you have read on TigerDroppings that you have based your belief system on. Do you personally know any of the posters who have posted the information that you do like?

Do you think Alleva is going to be fired at the end of this month? That information was posted with your other non-propaganda that you believe.

Not Ree's hype and bullshite posts

Damn man, didn't think anyone would get so bent out of shape over an article about ticket sales being down by only 1% from the previous year. Must suck to hate everything LSU football. Hope you have better luck next year, maybe sales will actually drop by a few more percentage points.

Perfectly stated. Another 9-4 season or worse and they can all GTFO.

Are you upset about the ticket renewal news also?

Ya'll must have been talking some serious shite and are now being proven wrong. I can't think of any other reason this news would upset "LSU" fans.

I haven’t said anything about renewals.

I’m not going to be distracted from the fact that Orgeron was hired to be better than the coach we fired.

Whether or not people renew their season tickets is immaterial to me. I want to see improvement on the field.

This may be one of the very few cases where being simple minded may help. Just keep those limited brain cells focused the best you can and maybe you won't be distracted by anything other than Miles and Eaux. Good luck man !!!

Condescension doesn’t make you look smart like you obviously think it does (especially when you constantly refer to “Eaux” and “Slinger”), but I can’t say I’m surprised by it.

Carry on

Ree are people around the team still comparing slingers offense to mcvay and the Rams?

I believe that was Myles Brennan's high school coach who said that. You should ask him. He coaches a team in Louisiana now and should be very easy to track down.

Ree, I love LSU. My loyalty is to the university, not Orgeron. I can assure you that we are all hoping for the best, but lack confidence in Orgeron based on his track record as a head coach and what we've seen thus far.

The only thing I'm scared of is being right and it saddens me that so many people who genuinely love this university have to sit through this garbage and watch our program flailing bc our administration so incompetently handled the most recent coaching hire. In the meantime, those of you who are more loyal to a guy who has proven to be a colossal failure than to the school you supposedly love, can continue to post your hype and propaganda.

Just promise you'll be man enough to show up when the season is well underway. I have no confidence that you will, since you don't even have the courage to predict a record for the season despite being asked to do so many times.

The season is coming. Like coach said we are. One of those is certain. Time is passing and it's about to be put up time. No more talk. No more hype. Just results. Whether you like it or not, orgeron is going to be held responsible. You can't run anymore. Prediction or no prediction. There's gonna be no mercy.

So naturally you come into a thread on season tickets call the author of an article on ticket renewals a liar because of your confidence level in a coach???? Little scatterbrained participation going on?

it saddens me

I have a feeling you would be sad no matter what.

I would tell you about the depth and talent in the trenches and the support staff and some other stuff but I don't want to derail this thread like you apparently do.

Derailing the thread by pointing out that this is another fluff piece?? Or by pointing out that there is no reason to expect anything other than fluff right now?

It's no secret donations are down and lots of folks are not confident/happy with Orgeron or Alleva.

Prediction for the season buddy?

I renewed before the end of last year. I can’t give up my tickets. i will sell them to visiting fans. I’m sure there will be lots of opportunhies to buy tickets. The stadium sales in concessions and empty seats is the issue.

So you are saying all the pieces are there for this team to win the national championship this year?

I just want clarification so when we go 7 and 5 you can’t come back with “we were a young team”, “the talent just isn’t there yet”, or some other excuse.
