By that logic, we should hire Michael Jordan as the basketball coach and Usain Bolt as our track coach. As you said "Stay the course with BIG NAMES!"

Mr. Woodard needs to go BIG not remain lame.

Yes...he's been so LAME up til now.

Keep plugging away, Wooly Goat...welcome to TD (unless, of course, you're an alter... )

Only if Andy Deichert comes back as well.

At one point, Deichert was strength coach for Phelps. He was also a mega-time All American swimmer at LSU.

A side note, he played football one year. He's a real badass and a great guy. He would bring back some much needed toughness.

Just need to keep him from sleeping in the trees nude.

Aquaman would be a solid hire.

People may watch swimming for a few weeks every four years (i.e. Olympics), but it is a almost unheard of sport to even most ardent sports fans and people in general any other time. I can't remember the last time a big deal was made over swimming world championships, us championships, much less NCAA or SEC championships.

I would like LSU to do well in any sport. I appreciate that the OP seems to really care about swimming, but swimming will be a very minor sport except to some afficiandos, IMO.
