As I look over the horizon from my lofty perch at 3,333 feet above sea level, and check with the wooly worms (no worm jokes please) and other creatures of the forest the prediction is that any contraflow will not start until Sunday Noon with any projected landfall along the gulf coast around 4:00am Tuesday.
Right now Gustav is enjoying some Red Stripe Beer in Jamaica which will result in increased rainfall and a more eratic path after incesting the current crop of ganja.
Let's play this game, I am anxious to visit Tiger Stadium again!

lsusports.net has a 1PM update posted that still says no changes, game still on, and no mention of a 4PM meeting...FWIW

LSU FOOTBALL GAME STILL SLATED FOR 4 P.M.
BATON ROUGE – There has been no change in the scheduled start time for LSU’s season opening football game against Appalachian State on Saturday at this time. The game is still slated to kickoff at 4 p.m.
LSU officials, in cooperation with state and local agencies, continue to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Gustav.
LSU will continue to update fans on any changes via the news media and LSUsports.net should conditions warrant it.
