Just wait until halftime it clears out by then and you can spread out comfortably.

My son is an entering freshman. For $25, he joined the Collegiate Club. He got to buy tickets two days before non-members - all seven games.

The USC game in ‘79 was very similar to Wash ‘83 in the student section

Where is the 10 thousand freshmen number coming from?

I assume he’s talking about the size of the entire entering freshman class, not the number of student tickets sold to freshmen.

That said, I haven’t seen that number published anywhere. The previous largest freshman class ever (last year) was like 7,500 students, so that would be a huge increase.

Same debacle LSU did last year. They sent emails with the wrong time for the opening of ticket sales to students. Of course this situation became a complete cluster. LSU need to get off their a$$ and correct this. No reason in the world why this should be happening at an SEC powerhouse football program.

There are benefits to joining certain clubs, like the collegiate club… students who joined got priority. My son and all his friends got tix.

Just let students without tickets in the stadium at halftime when the stadium is 1/2 full. Problem solved.

I was at LSU in Archer’s final seasons and Curley Hallman’s disasterous tenure. Tickets were $2 each and I never had problems getting them.

That said, I spent a lot on alcohol for tailgating because being drunk made those seasons much more tolerable.
