NRG would not be pleased with LSU talking publicly about contingency plans 8 days before the game

Good god, now you are going so far as to say Lsu doesn't have a plan....as if it is fact.

I mean they just released a statement that said their plan was to basically wait with their thumbs up their asses.

If they had a plan, why wouldn't they say "hey we are working on contingency sites"

Just because they don't publicly say WE ARE LOOKING FOR OTHER OPTIONS, doesn't mean they aren't looking

Why in the world would they try to hide their possible second options? It's not the nuclear codes.

I'm confused as to what it is you actually want...

Do you 100% want them to move the game right now?

Or did you just want them to say 'we are working on a contingency plan ATM' ?

So what happens to a hotel room that someone has reserved because they are going to the game but a family is bow living there with no place to go? Do they kick out the family that just lost their home? Then let eM back 2 days later?

It wouldn't be an LSU season without a game possibly being canceled.

No one has said this.

From a story on ESPN.com:

quote:

Harvey is then expected to stall and let loose with lots of rain -- upwards of 35 inches in some areas -- and then likely to go back into the Gulf of Mexico as a tropical storm, gain strength and hit Houston next week.

I know with federal emergency units they usually remove those reserved rooms.

You don't need to have a Katrina situation to have an unplayable venue

One less injury-gauntlet for our O-line. Let's move on to the UtC game and hope our line gets out of that one unscathed.

I wanted them to say "hey we're praying for Houston, but in case shite goes sideways, were working on a backup plan"

A simple statement that lets the fanbase know that you're at least taking positive steps to not frick them over.

Game still as scheduled and Monitoring the situation =\= coming up with a serious contingency plan and making the necessary preparations

I'm glad you pointed that out. Since you are a serious insider you would be in on any conversations regarding contingency plans and would be glad to share them with us.

So you're saying it's a ideal place to house possible evacuees if needed? Ones that might need hotel rooms in houston...
