Good if they are in contact with local officials they will likely have a plan in place as well. LSU doesn't want to miss out on all that money.

This is getting old. Not their fault but still getting old.

Is it too early to look at 2018 and predict what game will be canceled?? My guess is Southeastern

"We are already involved in contingency planning in other venues and cities in case this storm causes an unplayable situation and we have a set date in mind next week to decide where to play this game."

Would be a start

I think its funny how some of you are so vocally against contingency plans. Especially after all the shite that happen last year

Everybody settle down.
Alleva has a contingency plan.
This reminds me of when everybody panicked after Hermann turned as down for HC and everybody wondered what our "contingency plan" was...
That turned out great, right?

BYU has a say in this as well. LSU's statement is completely appropriate. Some of you guys need to get your "T" checked.

Dude, it's like someone else said... how do you know they aren't making contingency plans??

Just because they don't publicly say WE ARE LOOKING FOR OTHER OPTIONS, doesn't mean they aren't looking

The last thing they want to do is say they MIGHT move, relocate, or cancel the game because people will start cancelling trips, plans, hotel rooms, etc... you can't just admit that something might change, because everyone will start to overreact, no matter what the plan or the solution is

Let them keep it close to the vest until they have a definite solution

You are either dealing with 12 year olds here, or some extremely dumb kneejerk adults.

Nah, I prefer winging it.

Where's the excitement in planning that far ahead?

What i find funny is the same people who blamed Alleva for failing in the coaching search because he didnt have a plan are now defending NOT having a plan.

I don't think this is the type of situation that you play close to the vest.

It would be easy to add "making contingency plans" to the statement.

Let's wait...so the thousands of LSU fans drive through hell and high water (literally) to make it to a game that may be cancelled/moved.

Good god, now you are going so far as to say Lsu doesn't have a plan....as if it is fact. You and your little group are truly some miserable fks. You literally aren't smart enough to realize Lsu doesn't control this. Wow
