Because a tightly controlled scripted scrimmage is such an indicator?

did I say it was? I said no qb “lit it up”. McMillan looked the best out of the three. You are going senile

And he appears to be ahead of 2 guys that were ranked pretty high by those guys. If Brennan and narcisse we're considered chumps it would be different.

People get over evaluated in recruiting all the time.

The number who get completely ignored and it turns out wrong is FAR smaller.

Look. I'm not running the kid down. I acknowledge that there have been exceptions to this rule. Most recently, Baker Mayfield only had offers from Fla Atlantic, Rice and WSU.

So, I'm not throwing in the towel. Merely observing the odds.

I might be senile but I still have enough intelligence left to understand that a single scrimmage isn't worth much in the grand scheme.

Apparently a lot of you "baws" seem to think it is the be-all of LSU football.

I thank my stars that none of you have any importance to LSU football.

Yep, he looked good out there. Not the strongest arm, but he's smart, accurate and makes good decisions.

So basically we have Danny Etling again

Don't know, didn't see him play last year. I think he threw one pass.

But don't let that stop your continual meltdown

I'm cool as a cucumber brah.

Having low expectations is liberating.

There are a lot of guys in the NFL that we never heard of until draft day.

Many times a three star has more growing room than higher rated guys because they're already physically developed, early bloomers

Dude. Don't talk to me about exceptions when I've clearly articulated I know there are exceptions(Baker Mayfield for one)

I am ONLY pointing out that statistics ain't on our side.

It would be so fitting for LSU to have a starting qb who split time at qb as a HS senior.

If he can beat out two highly recruited QBs, my opinion of his talent means nothing

If the line blocks like that, we will need three QBs to make
it through the season.

OL was basically impossible to seriously evaluate today. Missing players. Mixed starters. And, the last thing to gel on offense is always the OL because of the multiple blocking schemes.

If he wins the job let him start. I was hoping that one of our two highly acclaimed young guys would take over but that hasn't happened yet.

Yeah. DL is basically "blow the frick up and get after it".

OL is FAR more complicated. In a battle of even equal talents, 14 practices in, DL wins. Huge.

LSU starting QB Justin McMillan

That would be sad, a total failure in recruiting and development.

I’m late to the thread. But a few weeks back Danny said JM would be the stater. Guess I’m not surprised.

And if he does get the starting position, watch how this board crucifies him after he makes his 1st mistake in a game. Lmao

Please tell me you arent naive enough to think this just applies to Justin McMillan.
