Here ARE FACTS to consider moving forward. Those that want mediocrity to continue, please defend why and how long do we continue with this staff. 2016 was 4th ranked SoS with Wisconsin (9) and AU (5) being 2 of the higher ranked teams.

2017 was 31 With 4 losses...

Year - final ranking SOS - Final Record - Comments
2011 - 2 - 1 - 13-1 - (3-1 vs Top 10; 6-1 vs Top 30)
2012 - 14 - 11 - 10-3 - (2-2 vs Top 10; 3-3 vs Top 30)
2013 - 14 - 11 - 10-3 - (1-1 vs Top 10; 2-3 vs Top 30)
2014 - 26 - 7 - 8-5 - (1-3 vs Top 10; 4-4 vs Top 30)
2015 - 16 - 5 - 9-3 - (0-2 vs Top 10; 3-3 vs Top 30)
2016 - 14 - 4 - 8-4 - (0-2 vs Top 10; 2-4 vs Top 30)
2017 - 18 - 31 - 9-4 - (1-2 vs Top 10; 1-3 vs Top 30)

I would love to know who had a tougher schedule than us in 2011.

Its February, take a break man.

Basketball is fun to watch. Baseball just started. Softball and Gymnastics is also good. You will have plenty of time to melt over football. I promise.

So as expected, this was LSU’s weakest schedule in the past 7 years with the fewest top 30 teams in that time span.

What is the third top 10 team played outside of Alabama and Auburn? Bwahaha.

Mediocrity is more like what the Mississippi schools have done. Do I expect and desire more than the current results from LSU football? Of course I do. But I know LSU is still currently above mediocre.

Looks pretty similar to 2016. I'm going to let the 2018 season play out before I slit my wrists.

Strength of schedule of 4 and 31 look pretty similar to you?

It’s not your fault.
You can’t paste tables and I don’t know how to post pictures.
I’m old so give me a little slack please.

it’s not his fault because I tried to make it look like a table, but that doesn’t work for some reason. I don’t know how to post pictures.

In 2016, if not for Wisconsin and AU, that would have been a MUCH MUCH worse SoS. AU was 5 and Wisky was 9.

A team has gotta be one bad mofo ranked 7th with 8-4 record, and 2016 didn't seem to fit bill.
I get 13th(AP), 14th(USA), and 20th(CFP).

Fixed it all. Miscalculated the averages of the data so just went with final AP ranking to make it easier.

From 2012 to 2016 we are 2-8 vs. the top ten.... that wasn't cutting it.....

Yet still not hit mediocrity and I’m not ignoring a decline.

4-9 actually under Miles.

With that said, NO DOUBT it was time for him to go.

The problem is we are 1-3 vs Top 10 and 3-6 vs the top 30 under O against an overall worse schedule with the same record. You can’t compare Arky or Ole Miss in November under Miles versus the last 2 years. No where near the same level of team on average.
