ULL is like La Tech WBB in 2005..done

I agree. Their days of being in the top 25 are in the rear view mirror and becoming harder and harder to see.

They were one of two dozen schools who actually gave a shite about softball and it showed

Now theres two dozen BIG 10 and SEC schools that can fund their softball program with a rounding error from their TV deals and its 10x the UL softball budget

Kind of insane she took the job without assurances. I assumed ULL would always have the funds to stay competitive in baseball and softball.

Well the guy who signed most of those assurances got run out of the building after piling up a $50m deficit

Beth is praying she doesn’t get in same regional as the lions again.
As nightmarish as it was, the Astroglide & Mechanical game in TS got rid of BK and eventually brought in LK.

Same scenario with Softball.

Get the Lions in another Regional and proceed to lose 2 and it's "Bye Bye Queen Beth" for good. No Mo Softball Nikki.

Beth isn’t going anywhere this yr, they have done a remarkable coaching job imo. In regards to SLU the seedlings are different this year, they seed 1-32 and SLU is inside the top 32 so they would go to the corresponding higher seed which will not be LSU. The only time SLU beat LSU was last yr so for you to dream it would happen again is unlikely.

I am not sure the committee has the balls to make SLU a 2-seed in a regional, despite their RPI. I don't think it will happen....but seeing SLU here in a BR regional as the 3-seed isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Yeah depends on how high SLU gets, if they are inside top 30 it will be hard not to make them a 2 seed… (31) as of today. I would actually love having SLU in BR as a 3, both 2-3 would have to throw their 1’s while LSU could throw #3. As far as history from last yr, Kylee Edwards, Lorenz, Franklin, Hutchins, Cellura weren’t playing here so they could care less about SLU. Heavener is a different pitcher from last yr so totally different team. SLU is a well coached disciplined team so I’m happy for them!!

At least the Fighting TorinaMA's can beat the Ramblin Acadians of Southwest Louisiana Junior College at Lafayette.
