ok dont know much about softball team this year. Was she one of our best players?

she was batting leadoff and was a key part of the lineup as a senior

I'd guess whenever Petty is back, Daniel will move over to 3rd.

It’s obviously horrific that this happened to Coffey, she had gotten so good at 3rd last season and her bat has always been instrumental.
That said, I wondered what’d you do with Daniel once Petty recovered. She’s looked great defensively and was batting over .500 before all the bats went cold this weekend. I figured they’d slide her to DP to keep her bat in the lineup and continue to alternate catchers. With Coffey out Daniel and Lynch will stay in the lineup.

This program seems to be snakebit with season-ending injuries to key players before conference season starts. Carson in 2023, Coffey in 2024.

Hate to hear it and I’m sure she will be back ready to go next season. Somebody has to be ready to play, injuries happen and you can’t pause the season.

I was one who was threatened by him on my personal Facebook. Now with Kelly Lynch here, who is from his hometown, I'm sure he will be here as much as possible.
I was at Middle Tennessee over the weekend to watch one of my former players and it was so peaceful and enjoyable. I even slipped over to Vanderbilt to watch the men's basketball game.
I keep my season tickets in the hope I can go and enjoy LSU softball before I get too old to travel over anymore.
