I love the tiger girls. They have a good thing going now. Cannot wait to enjoy the season again with my daughter as we did this season. It was fun to watch and teach her about the game. In one year, she already knows more than most of the posters on here and fans in the stands.
Then if you love the team so much, show that love by your support of every player on the team and the staff. I show my support by cheering the team on, even if we aren't having the greatest day.
Do I agree with every decision? No, but if I was the coach, I'm sure that not everyone would agree with my decision either. I made my share of mistakes as a coach for 25 years for sure. Like I tell people who ask what I think-- I say that I retired 3 years ago and I don't get paid to have to make those decisions anymore. I want to enjoy being a fan and I am having a blast doing that. I leave the decisions to those that I trust -- the coaches and players.
If I was to be upset by a decision made by a player or staff member, I sure wouldn't express it here, or scream at the players and coaches like some do at Tiger Park. Now if it's the ushers ... that is different.
Remember these players represent our university and that means they represent US!! Let's make them proud to represent LSU and that means representing US! (At least those of us who graduated from LSU)

nce the obvious baby bump was there, it became a possible answer to her errors.
I forgot to mention this....you have a daughter....what would she think if you made comments about her that her hormones caused her to make bad decisions while she is pregnant (years from now)? I would hope that you would be excited to have grandchildren and not say anything that would spoil that awesome experience.

SJ with 4 hits and 3 RBIs today in the World Cup of softball against Argentina and Venezuela.

Are you seriously in favor of Kreamer over Jaquish?
No knock on Kreamer, she is a good player but both of their defenses are neck and neck. Ive seen both plenty of times IN PERSON!!!
As for offensively, she doesn't not compare to Jaquish in any way.... none. So why the hell would you bench Jaquish for same defense and way less offensive production.
I also call BS on talking to parents. I happen to be very good friends with one of the assistant coaches. Jaquish is not what you are describing at all. Give it a rest.
For the record, Corbello deserves a spot on this team. Yes she had control problems at times before but when she is on she is as good as any pitcher on this staff. I really hope she has a breakout year and shuts you up.
Last question, what player are you gonna go after next?

"We have a tremendous third baseman on the bench"
No we don't.
"Jaquish is not what you are describing at all"
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle of both of your feelings, as is also probably true with most of the players. Few people are beloved by everyone. Odds are simply against it.

Yes she does, as the #4 pitcher. As for the 2nd part of that sentence, no she is not. That isn't to say she isn't good, but she simply will never be as "good" as Hoover. Hoover does things Corbello will never be able to do.

Great group of freshmen coming into BR. Thing about the SEC is that at least six other schools have a similar impressive haul heading their way.

WHen will transfers be added to the roster? Randi Provost transferred from Ul last year and sat out. She should be on the team 2016.

Whenever they update the roster on the website which is probably around fallball.

Hoover is definitely more effective then corbello, but what I mean is that she is a different pitcher who brings a different style to the mound. With Hoover, she throws hard and locates the ball well. Corbello has excellent movement and good velocity on her pitches. Her issue was the consistency in her location at times. We saw in her freshman year she had runs where she was unstoppable and performed like a veteran. She has the tools to be an elite pitcher, when she puts in all together she is deadly.
Everyone needs to keep a close eye on the incoming Freshman Sydney Smith, she has the ability to make a instant impact. Her play completely took onto a different level her last year. She could challenge for that #2 spot. Hoover, Walljasper, and Smith will all be used accordingly by Beth based on matchups. Its nice having the luxury of all these elite pitchers.
Emily Griggs and Savanna Jaquish are tearing it up everyone! Representing LSU very well.

LSU in all likelihood will be a national title contender as long as Beth is at LSU. Every year will be exciting from here on out
With the talent she is bringing in, I agree, we should be Ok City contenders every year. After this past season, we now have hitters to go with the pitching. The future for LSU softball is bright!

Corbello has the talent but not the instincts and focus. Gets rattled WAY too easy. My biggest and only problem with her. But the experts on here can't see that. She gets rattled way too easy and isn't on the level she needs to be on. It is what it is.

You are a freaking moron if you can't see that Kramer is a much better third baseman. Savannah is an average catcher at best. Should be full time DH but Beth won't do it because she is afraid of her transferring.

I would love to meet and discuss over a few drinks. You are a moron and desk with morons are fun, real fun! Have you see the third basemen come though this program in almost 20 years? Jaquish can't hold most of their jock straps! Except yours maybe.

She really looks like she is leading to be a better hitter too in these summer games. Ant wait to see the new and improved SJ!

My 2 cents:
SJ not the best 3rd base option. Her AND Bell make our infield defense "okay" but not "solid".
However, need their bats in the lineup.
No room for Corbello wildness.
Keep the info comng Tigerbait, we appreciate!

SJ's a 2x AA. Anyone complaining about her is a complete moron. Educote has already proven that numerous times but anyone else should try not to join him/her.

I'm just laughing so hard at how you make disparaging comments about our players and coaches and then all of a sudden change your tune. It's really comical and embarrassing for a LSU fan who loves the team like you say you do to do this. Are you a graduate of LSU? We really would like to know.
I don't know Tigerbait357 but I agree with him. Maybe we can meet at one of the tailgate parties under one of my tents or sit together in the Riff Raff Deck with you....oh never mind, the ushers won't let us approach that section. I'll just stay in 103.

@SahvannaJay is now 5 for 10 with six RBI in the World Cup. Jaquish also has a .615 OBP and 1.100 SLG in the Cup.
