Who cares, that doesn’t make the program better…Is Texas A&M a better football program? Ole Miss? Oklahoma ? Houston? Vandy? They all must be since they beat us in football this past yr

Did you just answer your own question? In 2025, those programs were all better than us. Unless we have some win against them that I’m not privy too. You gotta get out the past and live in the present.

So those schools have better football programs than LSU? A program isn’t one year, you understand that correct ? By your definition if Miss St beats Oklahoma this yr they would have better program in softball than OU correct? Long Beach St beat OU in softball this yr, they have a better softball program right ?

Do you honestly think that we couldn’t get any successful mid to come do exactly or better than Beth? Where was she before LSU? She must have been a juggernaut of a coach.

Like I said, quit living in the past. Army was dominant at one time. I guess they’re a better program than a lot of the SEC schools that have never won anything? Is that what I’m supposed to understand? Or can we only go back as far as when LSU was relevant?

The same Duke who got smoked yesterday and has made 1 ws in 8 years ? She also turned down Georgia when they hired Baldwin. I like her though not sure she fits culturally at LSU..btw, she tried to hire Neal a couple yrs ago so she must suck too lol

What’s your expectations? A natty ? OU spends 7 mil on their softball program.. would you be ok with that here ? That would be double what we do now, Gasso makes 2 mil, their 2 main asst coaches 350k, would that be ok here? You do realize LSU is mid in budget in the SEC? TT has 3.5 million in their roster, give Beth 3.5 and what do you think would happen?

Well for a school that has a program that’s only around 10yrs old. I would say yes, take her over Beth any day and twice on Sunday.

To still be top 15ish? Why hire a mid coach to replace an according to you a mid coach? If we can’t get a Walton, White etc then stay with Beth. The one outlier that I would take is Earlywhine..hard to mismanage it..you call Terry from TT and say I got 800k, you call wells from OU, I got 800k and so on..ain’t rocket science

It’s different in softball however I get your point, you want her gone regardless of how much it costs the school.

For a chance to live somewhere other than purgatory….absolutely. If the powers that be decide to let her ride out her contract, so be it. I’ll watch and hope they win next year and voice my displeasure if they don’t.

They have a freshman pitcher that has potential to be the best since Hoover, throws harder right now that Hoover ever did..potential don’t win games I get it but she has a chance

Who is this freshman phenom and why haven’t we seen her? If she’s raw talent and it’s up to Beth to develop her, I wouldn’t set my expectations too high. Beth has had plenty of weapons before and done nothing with them.
