1) He’s immediately the 3rd tackle, ready to start if anything happens to Dare or Deculus
2) He’s insurance in case Dare fails another drug test
3) if nothing bad happens to the starters, he’s still a great versatile 6th or 7th OL. I’m down. I am so down.

Right but a school like LSU doesn’t need to sign any transfers or Jucos unless they mess up in recruiting somewhere
Obviously it’s going to happen. Even Bama takes some. But all transfers are such because you need to fill a hole at a place like LSU. Otherwise, you wouldn’t use one of your 25 spots each year on a kid with limited eligibility

I know I’m not the only one in here getting REAL about this pick-up! I thought we’d get that big Stanford Kid.
Liam is 6-5 and over 300 and lacking great foot speed ...
SEC Translation: Can be burned on the outside and he’s simply a SNACK to be had
He’ll be a project early with conditioning.
Remember, HONOR BOY (SCHOLAR) plays a limited 10 game season when the air is crisp and cold ... You remember cold football weather that gets the cheerleaders nipples all hard and perky
HONOR BOY (SCHOLAR) has a zero clue about Bayou Humidity ...
Welcome to the Jungle Liam ... They’ll run you death in that heat and humidity
Jury is out on this one

Do you think we needed two undraftable players from Texas Tech?
I understand Miles had some shortcomings but Fehoko was a result of Orgeron’s misses in DLine recruiting if anything. He was good depth.
The notion that LSU ever had to go to Texas Tech and give a 5’10 WR with average speed a scholarship is still mind boggling

Giles had a great sophomore season at TTU & LSU’s WRs we’re weak at the time, so yea it made a ton of sense actually

I wouldn’t be surprised for him to get moved to center to compete for the starting job.

I assure you the coaches didn’t sign him for the heck of it or without due dilligence.
They obviously like what the kid can bring to the Oline room in 2020. He’s coming in to compete for a spot.

He’s actually 6’5 310

reading the thread leads me to the conclusion that many or our posters still doubt our coaching staff. Cole Tracy, oh why oh why or we wasting a scholarship on a one year kicker. Yea one wide receiver didn't pan out. But we have a great line coach. If he wants him, we take him. I think they know more than keyboard coaches. Welcome aboard. For the good of the program and your future.

It may sound like redboarding but I don’t know what we thought we were getting with an undersized WR with average speed coming from an offensive system that makes every WR look great.
Kingsbury had basically come out and said Giles was probably losing his job and after seeing Coutee, Cantrell, Vasher et al he was right. So we basically took a small system WR who had just lost his job and whined about it and quit. Then decided it was a good idea to give him #7 like he was a Legend
Meanwhile chark, Sullivan, gage all got drafted. Dillon was better than Giles. I never understood the need especially when you consider we were taking a slot WR in a run-heavy, play action pass offense which LSU was when they took Giles.

Off topic I played against a guy in football that went to private school in New Orleans and he ended up playing football for Harvard and I was so shocked he only made a 30 on the ACT

He weighs 310 per a recent Brody Miller tweet. Those 270 readings were from freshman year.
Here's your starter at Center......
