I was watching LSU/Ark game. I heard the announcers say if LSU wins the rest of their games LSU shouldn't hire coach O as permanent coach. What?? That's insane. I believe its a conspiracy to be sure LSU gets a mediocore coach. LSU has the same players it had at the 1st of the year with two losses they never should have lost. Now under coach O they have one loss to Alabama by 10 points. No other team in the country could play Alabama that close. What other coach in the country could do better. The number 2 through 8 teams in the country have all been beaten by nobody teams. Does LSU want any of these coaches? I hope not. Other than Urban Myers and Harbaugh, the rest of the coaches cant touch coach O. All I'm saying is the LSU AD should think long and hard before letting coach O go. If LSU wins the rest of their games the announcers said don't hire coach O as permanent coach the announcers said. Idiots. That's why their announcing and not coaching. And after comments like that they might not should be announcing. Keep going Tigers.

I could care less, basically.

No one is taking notes. They are broadcasters.

Everything they said was spot on...

They said LSU was a top 5 job in America and should not settle for Ed Orgeron no matter what happens. Sounds like a complement to me.

I definitely believe LSU is one of the top 5. But because of Coach O's coaching since he took over. Same team and players as first part of season but look at em now with coach O. Coaching matters. Look at Michigan now and before Harbaugh. Look at San Francisco now and when they had Harbaugh as a coach.

They were right. Everybody that knows anything about football realizes that LSU can do much better than hiring O. The SEC would rejoice if LSU hired O.

This is a fact.

Regardless of what some of these "O for hc" LSU fans want, the rest of the SEC wants it, too. You better believe it.

It's hard to tell the difference between trolls and actual LSU fans sometimes.

Very true. Some out there want O, but this one went a little far with it. Gave himself away.

his pro bowl LBs are gone. at least one retired. Frank Gore is a bit over the hill and they would not give him the keys to vault. the fast TE got a career changing injury.

Just like Larry Coker did great with Butch Davis' players and assistant coaches. As soon as they started to leave, the wheels came off. Coach O might be great, but wins as an interim don't prove that, and his record as a true HC at Ole Miss argue against it.

Why would they be conspiring against LSU, exactly?

We could have played 10 quarters and never would have scored, so it was never close. Quite a few teams could do better.

Luginbill said on the broadcast last night that there are 40 other (current college) head coaches that would take this job right now.
