Then why do they even have National Seedings? This makes no sense!
Because national seeds are guaranteed home status in the super regional if they win their regional.

SUPER REGIONALS!

This is why women shouldn't be involved in sports.

where is that tread about how to tell if you are a new baseball follower??

It got anchored. It was merely a thread to help those who were new...make them not look as stupid...

national seedings really have no implications on how good your team is. See Fresno State last year. All they are for really is to determine who gets home field for the supers. #1 is a nice little honor if anything, but really doesn't mean shite in terms of who is better than who in the top 8.

Okay, then why do they not have 16 National Seeds, for the regionals, and 8 for the Super's if we have 64 teams involved?

Because there are only 8 Super Regional Hosts.

Because they have women in charge of the process.....

Okay, so if someone besides us , wins our Regional, will they be the school to host the Super, since we have only 8 super regionals?

you have 4 seedings within each regional. You have 16 regional locations and 8 of those are super regional locations. The winners of the other 8 regionals advance to the super regionals. winners of the super regionals advance to cws. I cannot make it any clearer than that.

Well, Sportsbabe, who do you think is going to host if we lose and Rice wins theirs?

No. If Rice wins their regional they would host the SR if LSU does not win its regional.
