On the upside, get ready for pricier tickets,
which is a good thing since we're committed to paying the price to put a championship-caliber team on the field.

You're welcome for the fix, by the way.

+1, except...

Is anyone else concerned about problems that might be caused by Orgeron making as much or more than the Chief? That just seems like a situation ripe for issues. The DC makes less than the DL coach....not sure how I feel about that. Would love to hear other thoughts on that. Belowpar?

simple, presently it's all just in the rumor mill!

When you hear it from the horses mouth after the game, then you can believe it...

I guess Chavis won't recurit where Orgeron will

Chavis recruits -- see the comments from our LB, Sheppards father, who spoke very highly of Chavis down to earth style and commitment that his son would graduate. Both will recruit.

Chavis coaches from the box, and BeBe is on the sidelines cracking skulls.
Could be the perfect match.

I'm more excited about Coach O than Chavis

Chavis is the brain and O is the muscle -- both will compliment each other, but we need Chavis's overall defensive mind more.

Regarding the salary issue, I would say that it is perfect. Recruiting is a year round issue and as important as good defense and offense. Plus, you let O go to Tennessee or Alabama and we wouldn't be worried about assistant salaries....but who we would be hiring in a couple of years for head coach.

Miles has always had a track record of giving it up for his assistants and I think that reputation is paying off. Unlike one coach that was here before.

Is Miles just knocking one out of the park? Or should I temper my excitement?

He's more than the DL coach. He's the associate head coach and main recruiter.

Home run in my opinion. We need an enforcer on the sideline and the dude can recruit

+ the homer angle (I mean seriously, the dude is a Louisiana believer, as we all should be).

A homer could sell our situation to any family/kid. Food, fun, football, ALL TEMPERED BY VALUES. Can't miss.
