Sooner or later you have to beat quality opponents to win. The mark of competitors and champions is to take the plate you been given and go to work. Let the bruins and anteaters be the first to fall.

My biggest complaint about the location is the atmosphere is going to be shitty! How loud and crazy can 1500 stoned liberal assholes get!

Winnable region. LOL @ UC-Irvine and Ucla having less than 53 homeruns this season

Wow! LSU seems to have the toughest regional to get through with UCLA, Stanford, or Cal State. Both Oregon and Oregon State are in regionals in Florida. South Carolina on paper has the easiest bracket.

Didn't look for theirs yet but the two that I found for UC Irvine haven't been posted on in at least a week, regardless of the sport...lol.

So IDK. I didn't devote a whole lot of time looking for a good board though. Maybe someone can find one worth visiting and commenting on.

well...i can see a couple slaps in the face worse than what LSU got.

Oregon got sent to Connecticut and Florida state is the 1 seed in that regional. yes. Florida State a 1 seed and they aren't even hosting. they really wanted to give UCONN a regional.

Has anyone mentioned how hard UCLA got fricked in this deal? 6 seed nationally and you get LSU and UC-Irvine?

If LSU is that great and a team that is worthy of making it to Omaha, then the regional and who we are paired against shouldn't matter. If LSU is an Omaha bound team then the opposition they meet on the road to Omaha shouldn't really matter.

I disagree with your point. Playing weaker teams in the regionals allows you to get a win if you happen to have a game where you are not playing well. Having said that, LSU did not deserve better than the UCLA regional and paired with the Cal State for the supers. The SEC Tourney was great but it can't erase the horrors of earlier in the season.

Actually we have a pretty good bracket. We can take all the teams on both sides of the brackets.

I think this is great for the LSU kids....where you rather be in June (Baton Rouge or on the UCLA campus)....that's a no brainer. Who cares where we play or who we play?

If you are a bad arse, CWS worthy team, you go tee it up and see who is best. Love the draw, love that the kids get to go hang out in LA for 2 weeks.

Geaux Tigers and the rest of you idiots can go sweat your balls off in BR....I am going to LA to catch a few ball games and squeaze in the Lakers on Saturday night.

Now that's a road trip!!

exactly, records are out the window, its all about who is hot and when. Doubt many of you peeps that keep bringing up our losing stretch gave us a snowballs chance to win the SEC tourny
I don't think anyone no matter how optomistic would have given us a legitimate shot at winning the SEC tourney. Was it the not so dominating series victory over Moo State that made you say oh yeah we got the tourney in the bag. We under performed in the SEC regular season. We had several pitchers and batter heat up over a 4 game stretch maybe we can keep it going, but don't act like you thought we were world beaters going into the playoffs.
