Did you look at the link I posted? It appears you can get purple in any position configuration.

I have a brand new purple facemask I bought about 10yrs ago for a helmet I never got around to putting together. Just collecting dust....

LSU does not paint their helmets. The light gold is a "stock" color from the helmet company. They removed the decals after each game and clean and polish them and then put new decals on it. I learned this taking the stadium tour last April.
