Even with that stupid attempt to catch the pop up, that inning was the best she has pitched. That is the only positive so far in this game. This team just looks intimidated by Nebraska.

LSU softball has more support than a lot of softball programs to be this mediocre year in and year out

Not to start a war here, but other sports get a similar level of support for similar results. Call it mediocre if you want. Such as the will wade basketball era. Lots of excitement and fan engagement. Similar results. Teams just have to not be bad

Agreed, Torina looks dejected/lost in the dugout..with such a young coaching staff there seems to be little leadership.

LSU is NOT mediocre. Hosting regionals and being top 16 every year is NOT mediocre.
Mediocre is Mississippi State, who has never hosted a regional and been to a super regional ONCE. Mediocre is Auburn, who used to be good but hasn't hosted a regional in forever.
Yeah today looked awful. Yeah I hate that we haven't been to a WCWS in 9 years. But this program is still better than about 95% of everyone else. Mediocre is an absolutely asinine word to use to describe this program.

Where have you been? TigerDCC knew the SEC record, who could and couldn't hit, and who could pitch last weekend. He didn't even have to watch the games to know.
