People keep saying it's a bad move because LF7 is wearing a shirt with Alton Sterling face on it. The people also keeps saying he needs to get all the right facts, but the people saying this don't have all the facts. You don't want him to wear it because he's the face of the LSU program, but when he takes those pads off and walks out that locker room in January 2017, no one will care what he does. He was a super hero and a great ambassador of the program when he donated/auctioned his uniform to SC. But he does this and now it's not a good look. If he doesn't have all the facts, what makes you guys think y'all have all of the facts.

I wore an American eagle shirt though. I'm not showing blind support to a known criminal that's drained the justice system just cause of the matching skin color.

Nobody has all of the facts yet but here are the facts we do know:

911 call says victim pointed a gun at them and threatened them prompting police visit.
Victim has long, criminal, violent history.
Victim was in possession of an illegal fire arm.
Victim refused to obey legal commands of officers.
Victim struggled with officers.
Victim was tasered and continued to fight officers.
Victim was shot while refusing to cooperate, while illegally armed.

Most important fact:

Not a guy that most reasonable people would support.

Was the shooting justified? We can't possible know but we do know it had absolutely positively nothing to do with the race of the criminal or the officers. The police did not just stumble up to a bystander and tackle him and shoot him by because they felt like it. The choices this individual made placed him in this position and his actions once in this position cost him his life.

We can be forgiven for our sins but the deceased can't be forgiven for his past transgressions. We're not all perfect and no sin is great than the next. So I guess since he has a criminal record he deserved to die. I guess we're all going to hell for committing a sin.

If Leonard Fournette didn't play for LSU, you guys wouldn't care. But since he does, it's a problem, this man had a criminal back ground correct. But what does his criminal background have to do with him losing his life. If he had a gun, why did the officers approach with out fear. Because a normal officer would have had his pistol drawn for protection.

That's embarrassingly vapid. The term useful idiot comes to mind. Don't care if it sends all you grown-men- jock-sniffers into a frenzy. There is an element of moral idiocy there, and the whiff of support of Mob Rule over Rule of Law that shows that the light bulb has not yet gone off for young Leonard.

He didn't deserve to die, he was tackled by cops, but I guess that's resisting. I don't care about the masses, because no one is perfect but I know what's really going on with these comments.

He's a kid. Kids are impressionable. It takes real maturity to not jump to conclusions. Hell most adults still struggle with it.

I support Leonard Fournette's opinion. Mr.Alton Sterling did not deserve to die. The police made a rush to judgement in killing this man. Life comes in all colors. Death is final. It did not have to come to this.

So he's jumping to conclusions, but everything you say or think of this matter is facts and not jumping to conclusions right.

Leonard don't be an idiot and focus on your football career.

What a stupid shirt to wear.

As long as he can score touchdowns and wear purple and gold, that's all that matters too you guys. At the end of the day, he's a human being who has a voice and opinion like everyone else.

Leonard has the ability to be a leader beyond the football field. He should definitely be a positive influence to young people everywhere. Don't try to silence him just because you may or may not agree with his views

Absolutely correct. I respect him for taking a stance. Those who want him to just perform for them on the football field and otherwise be quiet and have no opinion can go to hell where they belong.

It's about ignorance! If the police tell u to lie on the ground...u lie on the ground. You can see he was resisting...what did u want cops to do? Wait till they get shot first....it's not like we r talking about an upstanding individual. ..with no record or a past! Plus he was illegally selling merchandise outside a store....definitely not losing sleep over this one. LF7 has the right to wear a tshirt...It's just fabric
