Listening to Sirius XM and they hit the nail on the head by stating LSU has reverted to average and doesn’t look promising for years to come.

This team especially on defense will be far from average

all you have to do is win
what people think means nothing if you are winning
why post this or even be concerned about what people think about LSU unless you have posted it because you agree with the statement - I don't so I don't care

Meh, Tulane has always been better than LSU

the herd mentality has set in; sports media is down on LSU right now. at times in the past they have overestimated LSU's success and now they are underestimating it, imo.
you "source", Sirius XM doesn't know shite. you believe because it supports your opinion. but both are just that; OPINION.
there is a lot to be optimistic about concerning LSU football. we were headed downward and a change needed to be made. the new guy, O, is trying to reverse the downward trend and has had some success in recruiting on the lines of scrimmage and some disappointments at other positions. give the guy time. if he can fix the QB and RB position our team will be able to return to it's elite position. at least O is sitting on the sideline like miles did late in his tenure here and watch the team go to hell with chavis and haley destroying our defense.

Years to come? How would they know that?

You can get on your knees for Ed, but don't make up lies in the process. Miles hired Aranda. I'm sure you would like to believe that Ed did, but facts are stubborn things...

I was just thinking about this.
Any ways,

At least Miles was still bringing in top 5 classes, even towards his end. And he did bring in pretty great assistant coaches. After all, he did get Aranda here.
Of course his handcuffing of the O eventually cost him, but the guy who replaced him isn't offering anything different whatsoever. Even after he said he would hire the best and stay out of the way.. he reverted.
Oh well, we shall see how the season goes.

the "new guy", O, was a Miles hire.
his offensive coordinator was a Miles hire.
his defensive coordinator was a Miles hire.
if we (lolwe) were headed downward and a change needed to be made, why the heck did LSU keep all these bozos around??

Not 100% true, but under O they certainly won't win any games of consequence.

Hate to tell you, we reverted to average years ago.
Somewhere around 5, even with Mett, OBJ, and Landry we couldn't put it all together. That's what average teams do, shine in some areas but not enough to win a division.
