I honestly think we are more dangerous this year! What is one reason you think we may not repeat??

Easy, we are still champions until the next natty. We repeat in 2021 with a SR Brennan and we will revisit this time next year lol.

LSU king. Great minds think alike. I told a friend few weeks back if they cancel the season I have ever game taped from
Last year I will watch them as if it is our normal week to week games

Since I said one thing, I'll tackle center here because I'm sure QB will come up often.

I feel much better with the addition of Liam Shanahan to the group. It takes a cerebral player at the position, and Liam comes to LSU from Harvard. Listening to Coach O breakdown the rosters over the past couple weeks, the coaching/strength staff love the guy. I really believe he is a viable option to be the glue for this offense up the middle. If not, he is only more competition to make Joe Evans and Chasen Hines better. I personally like Hines as a swing LG, RG, C player. LSU always has a trusty utility man (ex: Adrian Magee). Overall I feel we are trending positive here!

Since i said one thing per post, I'll tackle "OC without Brady" here. If you want me to answer more, please post separate comment, it helps me keep my thoughts together! Thanks!

OC without Brady - Joe Brady gets a lot of credit for installing an offense we can successfully operate. However, Joe Brady didn't have the authority to just come in and change the offense. Coach O is ultimately the one who said LSU is changing and it's not just talk anymore like it was under you know who!! Coach O went and found Brady (who no one ever knew about!) and gave him the authority to change it. Joe also did this overhaul with Coach E at his right hand. Ensminger was and is still the OC and made most of the calls. Steve Ensminger, I believe, is one of the best in-game play callers we have ever had at LSU (minus maybe Jimbo). Bring in Linehan and bring back Chase, Marshall, and Brennan along with Arik Gilbert and this offense will once again find it's groove!

Since i said one thing per post, I'll tackle "linebacker" here. If you want me to answer more, please post separate comment, it helps me keep my thoughts together! Thanks!

Oh boy, linebacker gets me excited just thinking about it. Shifting back to the 4-3 requires some dogs in the middle and serious speed and discipline on the outside. LSU has both dripping off the bench. Admittedly, i was not optimistic after the draft losing Queen and Phillips early. That has turned 180 quickly! First of all, Damone Clark comes in to take over the MLB spot. 6'3 245 and can run like the wind. I fully expect Damone to have a Devin White'esque breakout year this year! He showed major flashes in big spots. Backing him up are young but uber talented players. I like what Baskerville has done on special teams and coaches love the freshman Josh White.

On the outside, we bring in a 3-time FCS All-American Jabril Cox from NDSU. Jabril will be a day one starter with unmatched experience and play-making ability. Would have easily been a 2nd round pick in the draft this year if he left early, but thinks he can jump to 1st round on a bigger stage. I agree!! I'm hearing good things about Andre Anthony and i believe its his time to step up. Devonta Lee moves to LB from WR, and Devonta was the best defensive player on the field at Amite when he played LB in high school. Natural fit!! Coach O loves the new guys as well. He thinks BJ Ojulari is a future all-american and phillip webb will battle for playing time as well.

Don't forget quality depth in Sampah, Ray Thornton, Travez Moore, Desmond Little just to name a few! Sorry, I told you linebacker excites me!! And don't forget, LSU will be running a lot of nickel (2 LB's), how do you even choose?? *Ahem* Clark and Cox!

Talent-wise we are good enough.

Biggest question mark is leadership/that special desire for greatness.

My concern is QB. I am not worried but we won last year because we had exceptional QB and receiver play. The receivers are still there for the most part and added good quality so that only leaves QB execution. I feel the rest of the team will be capable of handling anyone.

A little concern about play calling. Watching highlights and rerun games shows how befuddled defenses were against us last year. Hope we can keep the same level of confusion on them.

One cause for concern I haven't seen yet is Schedule.
