LSU is 2-2 against the Top 10, and it is crazy that they have played against 4 of top ten.

The way things stand now, we are probably not going to any BCS bowl games. Looks like the cotton bowl again. And I'm okay with that

6 of the top 10 in the SEC - top SEC finisher should be automatic qualifier for the BCS title game
LSU has played 4 of them. (2-2)
Florida has played 4 of them. (3-1)
A & M has played 3 of them. (1-2)
Alabama has played 2 of them. (1-1)
UGA has played 2 of them. (1-1)
USCe has played 3 of them (1-2)
Oregon, Kansas St. Notre dame have played zero of them.
Florida still has FSU so they will probably go 3-2 against the current top 10.

10-2 and a trip to the cotton bowl is not disappointing
Must be nice not to remember the 90's when just going to a bowl game was a great year
Not this shite again.
Yes it would be very disappointing because this isn't the 90's first off cowboy Jack. I remember the 90's and can appreciate this more. With that said we have 10x the athletes that we had in the 90's and this team was built for a NC this year. The Cotton bowl would be ;(

Thank you sir! I have been screaming this mantra this whole thread.

With our team BCS bowl game is always the goal, the natty is the cherry on top if we make it. Let's not forget the team we fielded last cotton bowl. They are not on the same page.

God, please...don't let Alabama get another mulligan.

So what the rankings tell me... is that USCw can wreck both Notre Dame and Oregon's BCS dreams in back to back weeks. Awesome.

for real…. i remember being super fricking excited about LSU getting in the Independence Bowl… you would have swore we got to the NCG, but it was just the Independence Bowl….

can….. but more than likely won't….
Oregon is gonna be in the NCG, i'd put good money on it… ND, if their D slacks off vs. SC, could falter, but considering it's a rivalry game, i can't see that happening….. they'll be ready, and they are better than SC...

Notre Dame loses to USC
Florida loses to Fl State
Bama beats Dogs
Texas beats K State
Oregon loses to Oregon St.
Where does this leave LSU?

I hope we go to the Cotton, but the state of Texas is gonna want Texas/Texas A&M for obvious reasons.

With 4 unbeaten, didn't A&M's win actually LESSEN havoc?
It will not stop the Bama loyalist from screaming they belong in the NCG because they are better that the other teams ahead of them. Just like in the past when they and other teams ahead of them were undefeated and they were snubbed by the polls. They just took a lone lowly poll who had them 1st and claimed a NCship.
What happened last year would not have happened in the past. When you lost to a team, if I remember right, you lost any chance of a repeat in a NC game.
