LSU really broke UT

Their bullpen was trash all weekend for them

We did make them burn through a lot of bullpen guys in game 1 of a three game weekend.

Just wait until they go through a year in the SEC. They better hurry up and grow thick skin because no one gives a frick about their feelings.

Said it in game thread but a lot of their fans aren't happy with the coach. There's a clear lack of talent on campus now due to a few years in a row of poor recruiting/portaling.

They only have 3 former top 100 overall players on their roster this seaon (PG rankings). 2 of them are 4th year guys who aren't exactly doing well either.

For reference I think Arkansas brought in 7 top 100 PG players in their 2023 class for this season. SEC is going to be a wakeup call for Texas in baseball.

Good teams use things like that as an incentive to raise their game. In the second game of the CWS Florida was chanting "overrated" to the Tigers. That lasted for one game.

That's ok. Most of their "fans" won't even know they were in a tournament this weekend. They only get fed news about teams that win.

Just looked at UT’s schedule. It looks like they are still in the Big 12 this year. Perhaps 2025 is the first year in the SEC for baseball?

It’s based on the academic year. OU and UT join starting in the 2024-2025 school year.
