Right on. In 2011 our offense wasn't that great and fed off of defense and special teams. See SEC championship game when we did nothing the first half. If only we would have had that defense with our 2013 offense.
Last couple of years our defense has been really good but we have not really produced a pass rush and the "nastiness" just isn't there. I don't mind a few personal fouls from the defense if they are playing with passion and emotion. That has been missing and it's time to get it back.

Would be great but I'm not an insider so no inside information, just what I read on the Rant.
As someone posted earlier, as fast as they reached out to CP maybe CLM saw this coming and was already prepared. Hope we do get it done quick for recruiting purposes.

This is my hope. There are a bunch of big defensive prospects on the block right now, and some may pull the trigger soon if we don't give them a reason to think it over.

Crazy things happen, but Will has more recent history at auburn. He was at lsu with saban. I can't imagine he burns them

He will have write a bigger check to get BeBe and CP here. It may have been cheaper to keep Chief.

Alleva would not go up on Chief's monetary demands because he refuses to pay that much for a coordinator (supposedly, he has said as much). He would have to pony up more than he is comfortable with in order to get CP and bebe and we already have the most expensive staff in College Football.
