Hard to tell but I would think we'd have a great shot at a good hire. LSU is a major program and our defense is littered with talent. Unless our target coach is holding out for the NFL then it doesn't really get more attractive than that.

Take away cupcakes: Miss state destroyed our defense, auburn did same. Gave up 27 to terrible Florida team. Chavis was nothing special. Hire semi decent defensive coordinator and we'll be fine

I wouldn't be surprised if LSU has their man as we speak. The Chavis deal didn't happen overnight . TAM had him in the bag for at least 2 weeks now.

IDGAF about this point. We just lost a DC who hated recruiting. I can live with another one. Hope they can get Pendergast on board.
