So Hill gets made fun of and heckled for being convicted of sexual improprieties with a 14 year old and he decides to fight over it?

I think hills punishment should be based on his on field production .....if he rushes for over 1200 yards and 15 touchdowns then the charges get dropped....if I were th DA that's how I would approach this.

Stupid is a stupid does - Forest Gump
Kick him off the team. Miles cannot let this kid [or any player] get away with this. Else you lose control of the team. You've got to set a standard of behavior with clear boundaries. If a player crosses that boundary.....there MUST be severe onsequences. Zero tolerance.
But then I come from another age when this kind of behavior was not the norm.

I'd like to know what this age is, because bar room fights have been the norm since there were both bar rooms and the ability to ball up one's fists. Suggesting otherwise is ludicrous. That did not make the behavior ok then and is no excuse for it now...but pretending this is some new phenomenon does no one any favors.

Dismiss him permanently. No room for this crap. Coaches should have know he was a high risk when signing him. Hit the road Jack...

He was high risk for hooking up with a girl in highschool and filming it

I've realized it's no use trying to reason with these hardass zero tolerance guys.
They will keep thinking that Hill beat a guy to a bloody pulp even though it was one punch to the side of the head. Cops saw the 15 second video which is the reason he was booked on SIMPLE battery.

Yea, I know he was convicted of Carnal Knowledge of a Minor. He got a bj from a high school chick and the Dad flipped out because his little girl was blowing a black dude. So what? Again, tell me why he was high risk?

Obviously getting a BJ in high school means you are going to attack innocent guys for no reason.

Agreed....bar room fights happen. But take a look at the real successful SEC coaches of the past, guys like a Bear Bryant, Johnny Vaught, or Vince Doley. I recall very little [if any] scandals involving players coached under these "Greats". They ran a tight ship when it came to discipline and conveyed clearly to their players their expectations as far as behavior.
For example, I recall a story about Bear Byrant and incoming players to his program. He always insisted that as soon as a new incoming freshmen player settled in at school, they were to call their parents. He made sure the parents were partners in helping to convey to their sons, acceptable rules of behavior. No wonder he was so successful. I have to believe parents do not want their sons engaging in this kind of behavior [fighting and brawling]. I would assume,if parents of talented [disciplined] players perceive a football program is losing control in this area you can be "dang" sure it's going to be a factor whether a kid committs to a program or not.
But correct me if I'm wrong.....maybe I'm old fashioned since I believe football is "simply" a game young men play in the fall, and that the real purpose of a football scholarship is to educate a young man [or young woman] in a profession of his/her choice.
Good day!

I guess it's easy for you to judge Hill's character based on a blow job and speculation about a bar fight.

You think getting one from a 14 y/o girl is okay?
Yeah- it's pretty damned easy for me. Sorry you apparently disagree.
