If I was a betting man, which I am, some frat star probably told a pledge to go say something racist to Hill.
ill take that bet

I realize this question bothers you, but it is a legitimate one to ask when such events occur on a regular basis now.
This comes off as Miles willingly allows this type of behavior. Perhaps one could argue that Miles is not enough of a hardass. He comes off as being jolly and laid back to the public.
Sometimes as a leader you need to be less of a buddy, and more assertive in putting the fear of god in your players.

Since the 2 of you are on speaking terms, tell him he isn't as good as Hill.

It was not a pledge. It was a frat guy tho.
I guess I don't get it, hitting someone for saying something racist, but Hill should have known better since he was on probation.
Should have just found out what frat he was in, talk shite about it on twitter and let everyone hate on them.

With an unproven defense looming in 2013...and playing at UGA early...the opportunity for the Tigahs to do great things is already in big time trouble. shot in the foot again just like last year.

1. How about you deal with me right now. List legitimate reasons why atheletes at one of college football's most elite teams should NOT be expected to walk a fine line and NOT be kicked off the team when they embarrass themselves and the university via breaking the law. There are plenty of others out there who would love to have the opportunity Jeremy Hill has/had.
so you're condemning blatant racism and hate crimes....brilliant

Yeah I agree. Hill has (now had I guess) a large following on twitter. He could have done the damage with just one tweet rather than beating him unconscious.
From what I heard, this frat boy, who is a large guy in his own right, was asking for it - essentially wanting to start a fight with Hill.
Basically our fans suck again.

Before Blue got hurt he was most definitely better than Hill
No

Yeah, at least our players don't physically beat the shite out of a student and steal his laptop and others just because...
First, I'm always perplexed by the "Tu quoque" (you did it too) argument. The mere fact that Bama or Florida players did something undesirable doesn't mean we want LSU players to do the same.
Second, how many of those Bama players were starters, much less starting QB's or marquee running backs or returning Heisman finalists? We haven't just had offseason issues in three consecutive years, they have been offseason issues involving fairly high profile players. That can't be construed as a good thing.
Anyway, Hill needs to come back.

The guys on sports today said that the guy called him the n word and then followed it with a punch. I'm also interested in seeing this video that they have seen

No kidding. What frat so we can call them out for getting Hill suspended.
The fact is all of these guys are different. I feel bad for Hill. JJ and TM7, not so much

This kinda shite is so stupid, The guy is in college sometimes you have to act like it, you want miles to hold every players hand every second? Sooner or later you have to act like you spose too..
