This is a nice post. I forget how effective Tyler was for us. Always overshadowed by Faulk (rightly so), but we would have lost a lot more without Herb.

Clearly you have no agenda.
Russell and Rohan were by far the best two. I would not say Tyler was the third best. I would give that to either Flynn or Mauck, with the edge to Flynn.

Wow, Booty was way worse than I remember. My memory was clouded by his All-SEC selection. I can't specifically remember why he ever played ahead of Davey.

Flynn, Mauck and Tyler were the only true quarterbacks. True leaders, students of the game, decent arms, able to audiblize, read defenses, etc.
