Randall would have been a different QB in CLM's offense. He would take the job from JJ hands down. I don't think JL would sniff the field either. I know this isn't realistic but I would have loved to see that.

One thing's for sure. I'd love to see CLM get the QB thing right for the next couple of years at least. It's been a little while since we've had a General on the field.

Go peddle your Jefferson hatred elsewhere. Some people here, not many, but some, understand football, LSU football in particular, and the QB position

First, I have no hatred for JJ...never met him. I have however watched him lay more eggs on the football field than any QB in LSU history. He topped it off with a zero 1st down performance in the 1st half of the SECCG.

Secondly, there are many fans that post on this board that understand football and QB play. You apparently are not among them.

I would love to know what type of statistics JJ would have "amassed" had he played on one of our less talented teams, such as the ones that Booty and Rohan played on. Unfortunately, that is not possible, but I feel pretty secure in my prediction that he would not have fared well in comparison to either of them...especially Rohan.

See 2009. Not that there wasn't talent, it just couldn't be melded into a fluid unit by the wizard's scheme.
None of these other QBs grew up under Crowton like JL and JJ.
........and :nb4flynn:.
Crowton had nothing to do with Flynn's development, and had about as much to do with '07 O as the last half of 2010 when CLM handcuffed him before kicking him out the door.

Conversely, place one of the top 3 LSU QBs in Crowton's system and see what they would've amassed.

Russel, Davey, and Tyler are clearly the top three LSU QBs after the Dark Age of Archer and Hallman.

One thing you left out . Which QB's were the better at winning the Big GAMES ??? History will not be made in the REMATCH GAME .

That chart just proves how much better JaMarcus was than any other LSU QB
JR was amazing. Best QB in LSU history, by a lot.

You obviously never saw Bert Jones play.
I would love to see his numbers if he had played in this era.

I hope that when Jefferson and Lee raise that crystal ball above their heads after the BCSNC game that they extend the middle finger of their other hand towards this unappriciative and seemingly self-entitled fanbase. It's a credit to Miles and his staff that he can keep the recruits coming to this school and keep the team together in this atmoshere.

Put all those guys on this current LSU team together and Les Miles chooses JJ to be his starting QB.
