Thanks!
TS is such a beautiful place.
Would've been neat to include one of those old cardboard schedules with Mike looking our from the stadium. I'm sure you ol' timers remember these.
I think I've been to five of its configurations.

Nothing could compare to Tiger Stadium on a Saturday Night for pure passion, noise, and spectacle. Sad that the atmosphere has died in an avalanche of apathy and laziness.
LSUAD apathy, laziness, arrogance and dysfunction.

A full version of the old bowl no uppers is a thing of beauty.
I've always loved that 2nd picture as well.
It's 100% my nostalgia, but that time was the purest of my LSU fanhood. LSU winning was new. CFB was taking off. The fans were in it for the right reasons. A great time.

All they should have done was add a small Northern extension to the East Upper and small Northern and Southern extensions to the West Upper to balance it all out.
Two equally balanced Upper Decks was ALL that was needed. WE didn't need all that wretched excess Third Tier Upper Deck BS in the South Endzone!
BTW, this Field Design is the GOAT! It's so much better aesthetically than the high school level crape that the Delicate Geniuses have there now.
what they're thinking.............

Agree with your posts in this thread. You've knocked it clean out da park.
It's hard to see something (TS) that holds so many memories, so much emotion, so authentic, and is so beautiful fade into a plastic, common, synthetic structure.
We're just part of a chain restaurant now.
