Vincent clocked a 4.33. I think there is a place for him, even though he is small.

Speed was never a concern for vincent it was the lack of hip movement at DB. He really should have played 2020 or returned this season to work on this to improve his draft status. Not sure he will be able to improve on it in a NFL football camp where they aint teaching you the basics. The Film doesnt lie on Vincent and the only reason he was drafted at all was his speed.I hope he proves me and alot of people wrong though and makes a squad.

Correct, if he was on another team he would have been a number 1 receiver. He has the size and speed to dominate the NFL, if he's able to learn the playbook because he has the God given talent. He's like a poor man's Julio Jones. They are almost identical in size And the same 40 time. Now I'm not saying he's as good as Julio but he has the size and speed to match him.

For some reason I've always liked him, seems to have a great personality and I love the name.

Did we have anyone else besides Carter that signed an UDFA deal?

He was beat out last year by Koy Moore - true freshman and Jaray Jenkins.

Only way he’s a number 1 is if it’s a juco or a high school team.

Titans got a steal with McMath in the 6th. Wish he would have stayed another year.

Like a very very very poor man's Julio Jones. I love Racey, but he ain't dominating in the NFL. Not even close. I think he can make a roster and hopefully he sticks for a while and can make a long career of it. But I certainly won't be drafting him in my fantasy league, likely ever.

Will a team sign ZVR as UDFA?

I read a CBS article about him last month.

drafted rookies get 4 yr contracts. some projected contract info from Spotrac

Pick No. 5 Ja'Marr Chase - Total contract value: $30,819,642, signing bonus: $19,774,285, 2021 Cap: $5,603,571

Pick No. 59 Terrace Marshall - Total contract value: $5,729,487, signing bonus: $1,526,899, 2021 Cap $1,041,725

here is CBS assessment of Marshall 59. Browns: Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU Grade: A-

Clearly some type of red flag for Marshall to fall this far. This is a big, fast vertical threat who tracks it well and is a horse in the open field. Not a smooth separator but will crush it on the vertical route tree.

Racey was picked for his potential to contribute on special teams. Matthew slater is a much better comparison than Julio Jones

It Depends! Some of your better FA get a signing bonus but most of them don't

I mean unless he’s leasing a Maserati and living in a 5 bedroom house in the metro area, he should be fine

He’ll get a chance to negotiate higher guarantees and signing bonus money when he signs. Some players can get a signing bonus upwards of 80-100k, but given he’s a fullback I doubt he gets much of either of those. Likely just a small signing bonus (1k-15k is normal)

If he makes the practice squad, he would make 8k per week he’s on the active practice squad.

If he were to make an active roster, he’d be getting paid based atleast the league minimum of 610k. Which he would earn weekly with “game checks” based on him being on the roster and being active

ETA in summary, he can make a pretty nice salary this year if things go right, but he’s going to have to earn every cent

He wasn't beat out by those guys, especially Koy Moore. Racey always was on the field, he just wasn't targeted as much as you would have liked him to be, and I think it had to do with his route running and stuff. He just had trouble getting open a lot, but when he did he made the receptions. In the NFL he will get the necessary training with better coaching, he wasn't getting that from Joseph. McMath has the size and speed to become a solid WR in the NFL.

With Kary Vincent, I wish he had stayed and got that extra season of work in at safety at LSU. He was coming along good at that position and could have developed into a much higher draft pick with the work. But it's done now and he'll just have to get coached up in the NFL, he can develop into a fine safety or nickel back in the NFL. LSU players always turn into solid NFL players in the NFL because they finally get the better coaching in the NFL that they weren't getting at LSU. Not sure why it's always been like that, but it is what it is, Hunter the DE for Minny became a beast after he left LSU.
