Are you watching this game? How many counter run plays have they run. Are you watching the multiple array of pass patterns that their receivers are running?

I don't remember seeing us run a post/flag pattern all season.

It is also nice seeing a running back get into a rhythm before being substituted. It is very different than watching Hill run for an average of 12 yrds and a TD on the 1st two plays and then not come out for the second series.

Hey, Joe Alleva, turn on ESPN. This is what a raise and an extension should look like.

I agree, as much as I liked Ware and his no fear and full force contact, he definately limited carries Hill would have gotten. i imagine with Blue coming back we will see the same, again I like Blue and Hillard, but Hill is the man.

I am not bothered by letting multiple backs get carries, but I would rather let each back have a chance to get into a rhythm and get 8-10 carries before being replaced.

I loved Ware beating up the defensive interior players, BTQ.

What I really hat is running in the up the middle RB and only running up the middle...running in the sweeo RB and predictably running sweeps.

I really would like for them to identify the two or three best all around backs and let them have all of the carries...inside and out.

Alleva is gutless. he wont do a damn thing except send his little hebie vincent to ask for more money. None of those adminsitrators ever threw a lick in a football game.

Totally agree. Alleva is a HUGE problem and obstacle in the way of LSU football.

fricking Joe Alleva is another one that needs to take a hike.

Jindal will have the LSU B.O.S. appoint Gene Mills or some similar crony as A.D.

Maybe Chas Roemer would like the job?

Part of the problem---bad evaluaion of QB players by LSU staff- perriloux -one season. Lee --he tried but didnt work out. the guy fom MIss couldnt make it. Zach Lee didnt play a down. Jefferson he could run but not a passer. Mett--totally immobile and hit or miss on passes. Rivers---three plays. randall--hasnt seen the field. Shep---did he even have a play at quarteback. Gunner kiel-- a teaser.

Of course I'm watching the Game. How in the hell would we be able to run those deep post corner routes when our OL consistantly gets beaten on quick inside moves. How often have we run play action only to see Mett miss a throw or end up on his arse. I guarantee you Alabama would not be here tonight without the players executing. If our players were better coached then we are crushing ND instead of Bama.

Their offense is light years ahead of ours. It's not just execution. Their plays look 10x as sophisticated as ours.

Which is why our best hope is a reformed offense under Miles. Another Alleva hire would scare me.

I said earlier tonight, I expected their offense to drop off, at least a little, after Mclwayne (sp?) left but it didn't. You'd never know the guy left. They went out and got the guy from Washington and they are still great on offense.

Goes with what another poster said, "Saban is never satisfied."

Sure am praying Miles was taking notes.

The people who think Miles is just being stubborn about the offense are stupid. If that was the case, why havent we had a vanilla offense since 2005? Its obvious that the 2008 offensive debacle made him SCARED.
