Hopefully LSU's Hoover magic is enough to overcome the tournament trend so far. The higher seeded team will be 7-0 after the Vandy-Auburn game going into our late night matchup with MSU

Considering the pitching match-up against Moo State...we're probably the favorite to win. If not, I'd call it even.

It's the 4 vs. 5 seed & we already beat them 2 out of 3. I like our chances tonight. Just need Walker to keep up his recent success.

The in-state schools we've played this year are not really trying to help us. SELU, NWst, LaTech, and ULL all lost today.

You can analyze hosting scenarios six ways from Sunday but all that really matters is A&M and Ole Miss losing and us winning.

Why? What does that matter?

Baseball is seeded 1-16 now, not just 1-8. Those top 16 host a regional.

I'm not even sure the NCAA gets the gate from regionals. It's not about money anymore. If that was the case, LSU would host every year.

Baylor is winning late. Indiana is losing 4-1 in the 9th. UNC is up 1-0 Midway.

If we lose the next two games what are our chances of hosting a Regional?

Won't feel totally comfortable with it. Nobody will really know.

Our RPI holds firm at 21 after last night. On the bright side, if the committee pays attention at all, we most certainly should have gotten some eye test points last night.

This game is pretty important if we want to host. Our SOS improved last night, and it will get stronger today. Auburn is also ahead of us in RPI, so winning this game would be big.

All of this. Hopefully the guys come out with a fire today. Grab a coffee, Red Bull, a Clay Moffitt punch in the face, whatever you gotta do. Today's game could put us over the hump.

It's going to be tough. The SEC should have stepped in and swapped this game with the 3rd game as soon as they saw it go well into the morning.

You have to figure, it's 4am before they get back and settled. Probably have to be up at 9 am to eat, get ready. Leave for the stadium at 10 to hit around, get loose. That's 5 hours sleep. That's tough for a normal person. Throw in the fact that they just played a 17 inning baseball game, and I don't see how they can come out hot. If they win this game, they deserve a ton of credit.

Ole Miss goes up on aTm 1-0 in the 9th. Sending aTm packing would be huge, especially if LSU can find a way to win.
