I expect it to be 2.5 by game time.

Why? LSU is a superior team in terms of talent and it’s not close

Nobody is questioning the talent at LSU

What a bunch of fricking weirdos. Imagine calling yourself LSU fans and watching a night game in Death Valley and hoping a historical divisional rival like Auburn keeps it within a field goal or even beats your supposed favorite college team for a few bucks.

It’d be one thing if you were taking a team like Southern Miss or ULM +30-40 points because you’ve got personal ties to the school and want them to get on the board.

It’s fricking Auburn…

I think you've got that backwards.

Auburn allows LSU to pin its ears back and go after the QB.

The reason LSU loses this game is because Auburn's DL is going to live in the LSU backfield.

What is it about Auburn's style that makes you think it's a bad matchup?

I don't see Auburn's DL as being better than Miss. State's to be honest. I think LSU matches up well against Auburn.

Vegas bookies need to read The Rant first before printing odds on the game.

That fact that AU hasn’t won here in 22 years means nothing.

Auburn is a team on the rise, as it showed yesterday. I dont think LSU will be able to keep up with them. Auburn defense will be all over Max

Why? Vegas is betting on idiots entirely assuming Auburn sucks now and LSU being good again because of two mediocre to bad performances yesterday.

They will ignore the fact that Auburn has actual depth while MSU does not.

Auburn’s offense is even more inconsistent than ours against anyone with a pulse, and even against someone without a pulse for a half this week. They have one legit star and a lot of mediocre behind him. Style doesn’t matter when you lack talent across the field.

They may have a spectacular RB, but their O Line is mediocre and our D Line is good enough to make life hard on them. As long as the LBs play as well or better then the last two weeks, we will be ok there. They don’t have a consistent QB or great WRs. They really just live off their defense and Bigsby.

If we shift back to tempo and move the ball more consistently on offense, this will be a two score win at the end. If we play slow like we did again yesterday, it will be a one possession game in doubt until the end again. I think our offense’s explosivenesses (in spite of the O Line’s shortcomings) will eventually win out either way with big plays that Auburn doesn’t match. State’s defense is as good or better than Auburn’s and they couldn’t prevent them.
