I’m indifferent about the hire. I just thought it was interesting. I don’t think they are setting him up to be the next DC or that he’ll really be the Co-DC. It’s just a justification of salary.

I know. He’s coached linebackers for two years. That’s was in response to someone who said he had “great experience”. He’s got much more experience coaching DL than LB.

Why not? Chris has an excellent resume. When baker eventually moves on to a major HC job Chris will almost 100% be promoted for continuity.

Because I think there are other guys out there with more experience and better resumes that LSU would go after.
